After being picked up from your accommodation and given proper winter clothing/boots (it can be as cold as -30°C in Lapland), your guide will drive you around 40 kilometres away from Rovaniemi to start your trip. Before heading into the forests, you will be given instructions on how to use the snowshoes whilst walking on snow. As you snowshoe through the quiet snowy landscapes, you will already feel the harmony of Lapland nature that surrounds you.
